"Dennis Trebing started his driving career at the academy in March 2006. His focus, determination, and willingness to improve and listen have enabled him to learn a lot in a very short time behind the wheel of various karts. When driving his powerful Tag kart, Dennis can not only display raw speed and aggression, but also a tremendous amount of patience and not falling into the trap of overdriving the machinery, a rare quality indeed for a 15 year old driver. When onboard a slower IMA kart for a 90 minutes endurance race, Dennis displays patience and does not loose too much time making his way through lapped traffic. Those qualities will serve him well throughout his career. Besides his obvious talent behind the wheel (honestly too many wins and podium finishes to enumerate please visit our website for results), Dennis has a charming personality, is very polite, down to earth, and has respect for others, all those elements will make him a sponsor’s delight.

For all those reasons we at IMA have offered him a position as a junior instructor where he is polishing his presentation skills and technical feedback. We can clearly see a future in motorsports for Dennis Trebing through the ranks of the Skip Barber motorsports ladder. His first two races in a formula car at Sebring in the regional championship were impressive. In treacherous rainy conditions he held his own to finish on the podium and won rookie of the race first time out! We wish him luck for this important event that will shape the future of his career and are very proud of him."

"My name is John Oppihle. I'm a racing instructor for the Porsche Club of America, Chin Motorsports, and International Motorsports Academy. I've been instructing for over 15 years. Every once in a while you can run into a driver that has the natural talent to impress. At the International Motorsports Academy Kart racing school, I have had the pleasure this last year to help a very talented young man develop into one of these drivers.
